One of my favorite class projects: Come up with an idea and branding for a restaurant. Tea drinkers agree that not all tea is created equal, and every tea is a new and different experience. Darjeeling, a cozy two-story tea house in the trendy Old Fairhaven district of Bellingham, would feature signature high quality northwest-themed house teas as well as imported teas from around the world. Customers would also have the opportunity for hands-on experience in learning about and creating their own unique blends. Because of the unique nature of the tea-drinking experience, and Darjeeling's own custom twist, many patterns and colors are incorporated in the printed collateral as well as the dishes, upholstery, and furniture.
